Matterhorn Watercolour on stretched Arches watercolour paper. I wanted to capture how dramatic this mountain is. The contrast between the shadow on the right and the white snow on the left would make this painting a prominent focal point in any room. Professionally framed behind glass.

My subjects vary but I love painting wildlife. I'm always trying to push my own boundaries within my practice whether that be testing new techniques, trying out new materials or changing my subject matter. My recent works are watercolour and I have been experimenting a lot with masking fluid. By using masking fluid as a tool throughout the painting process, I have been able to achieve a great level of detail. Right now, I have been using masking fluid to achieve different texture. This is something I hope to explore in the future.
