For Sandy, art has been a constant throughout her life. A steady voice, a core force that has been forever present.
Sandy completed her Associate Diploma and then BA in Fine Art after leaving high school. While working as a Lifeline volunteer during this time Sandy met a young girl who was on an extended stay at Westmead Childrenโs Hospital. The young girl would talk with passion about how important art was in her treatment. It was then that Sandy began putting art and healing together. In 2009 Sandy completed a Masters of Art Psychotherapy at UWS.
In addition to working as a landscape artist, Sandy runs a small business, Art in Berowra, practicing as an Art Psychotherapist and teaching art classes to young people, teenagers and adults.
