Rod Lehmann 1 artworks | 1 Sold Follow Contact Rod Rod Lehmann has been drawing and painting part time for most of his life and has from time to time taken a number of part time art courses. It was not until the 1980’s that Rod commenced serious painting in oils and acrylics on canvas. Work commitments often slowed progress of his painting but he now has regular spurts of painting activity followed by periods of contemplation where he studies other artists work looking for ideas that might stimulate his next painting. Rod is a civil engineer and has worked for many years on engineering projects associated with water. Having a career in water engineering has obviously created some enthusiasm for paintings associated with water and water is thus one of his more regular themes for his paintings.
