Family Gathering

Family gathering is a painting about going out bush with the family for a get together. It's a time to go hunting and gathering. The little ones help collect bush fruits and the adults catch the meat or fish for the main meal. At the end of the day all the family sit around the campsite and tell stories. The elders share all the dreamtime stories with the little ones and stories about their past. A day out with the family is very special as it is a break from the fast paced town life and it gives all the family members a good feeling of being connected to mother nature and being able to connect to their country.
