With qualifications in business, book editing & publishing, colour & design and interior design, Michelle has been involved in creative industries for over 30 years. From Office Manager at the William Jackson Gallery, Cork Street - London in the 90s to working in publishing and advertising in Sydney for over 20 years. An avid reader, drinker of red wine and gin lover, Michelle has long been an art appreciator and collector and has dabbled in creative pursuits (painting, pottery, candle and paper making) for most of her life. With a love of colour and texture, Michelle see shapes, patterns and designs everywhere she looks. Anything has the potential to be used as inspiration for an artwork from where sheβs sitting. A highly detailed, organised individual - painting gives Michelle the freedom to express her need to be creative. She lives in Country NSW with her husband, teenage son and fur-child Harley (a cheeky standard labradoodle). Working out of her creative space Studio30 Bella Vista, Michelle paints intuitively using acrylics, oil pastel and ink along with any tool she can get her hand on for mark making!
