I am a self-taught artist based in Adelaide, South Australia. My painting journey began in 2007, exploring the mediums of acrylic and watercolour. In 2020, I began working with oils, which has since become my primary focus. I spent many years travelling Australia with my family, and I found myself constantly sketching the world around me—the landscapes, the people, the coastline. These experiences instilled in me an appreciation for nature that continues to inform my artistic practice. My paintings are characterised by a focus on capturing the interplay of light and shadow, with a love of colour and detail. I often incorporate objects and figures to tell stories within my paintings, inviting viewers to connect with the narrative and find personal meaning within the artwork. My hope is that my paintings will resonate with others and bring joy and a deeper connection to the beauty of nature.
