Lyn Townsend is a passionate Artist that enjoys many different styles. Landscapes that capture the raw beauty of nature are probably her favourite. Oceans, florals and landscapes that come to life as she works on putting layers and texture to the piece transforms before her eyes and she just loves how one single piece can warm the heart and bring joy to others. Whilst Lyn mostly works with Acrylic, she also enjoys other mediums and is always trying new techniques and developing her skills. Lyns works are all designed from her day to day inspiration. She lives on the outskirts of Sydney Australia and is lucky enough to be surrounded by bush, lakes and lots of greenery. She will often drive to beaches or lookouts to sit and take in the amazing surroundings that nature gives us. On these trips she is always ready to capture images that she knows when the time is right she will use them for inspiration in her work.

After raising 2 beautiful children (into amazing adults) and working previously in the Interior and Kitchen design industry She has now decided that it is time to step up her painting and passion and work full time creating beautiful meaningful pieces that she can sell and hopefully bring as much joy to the buyer as they do to her. Lyns aim is to engage the buyer and have them transported to a calm, peaceful, intriguing place that will have them enjoying her artwork for many years to come.
