Luke is a Sydney based artist, currently focused on the creation of bright and colourful Still Life paintings with a naïve touch. He is drawn to illustrating the everyday, particularly the little luxuries that we find ourselves enjoying without noticing. Whether it be a bottle of wine on a summer’s evening, or a fresh arrangement of flowers in our favourite ceramic piece. In Luke's most recent work, he uses a ground of acrylic paint and draws out a simple scene with oil pastels, before going in with a textured layer of oil paint. Luke’s work can be found in the homes of collectors across Australia and Europe.
