It all started with another Lord of the Rings marathon. The inspiration came from the brilliant scene in The Return of the King where the Warning Beacons of Gondor are set alight. This became the scaffold of one of my most favourite pieces.
Created with the digital software, Blender, I was able to create a stunning image of fire and snow, with the night slowly creeping up on the mountain peaks. I used a revolutionary 'smoke simulator' to create the flames, and spent a lot of time playing around with the snow/mountain material. Most of the materials I generate are PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials, and they are primarily created to simulate real life materials based on how light reacts to it.
This piece is a vivid representation of cool colours with a hint of warmth, and would be refreshing to look at on a hot summer's day. It would be lovely above a couch, or perfect above a fireplace to continue the trend of warmth. The Galerie Smooth Pearl paper gives you superb photographic quality with high clarity.
The size I have listed is 81.3cm x 45.7cm. I am flexible with sizes, as long as the request stays with or close to the 16:9 aspect ratio, so if you feel that size may not be right for you, please do contact me directly to organise an alternative size.
The art work is "print only" and will be delivered neatly, and safely packed in a postal tube. My method of sales will also be print-to-order, however, since I am printing locally, there won't be a turnaround time and I can print, pick-up, sign, and ship to you immediately. The print will be signed and numbered in pencil on the back and accompanied with a signed letter of authenticity.
And of course, since the work is "unframed," you have the freedom of choosing one of the beautiful custom frame options, coordinated by the Bluethumb team. You will be able to preview my artwork in one of the frames and you can choose between natural timber, white or black.
And lastly, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me directly. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
*A mock up wall art generator was used to showcase my art work in a specific scene. Note the art work may not be to scale and was only shown for previewing purposes*
