Having grown up in Adelaide Felicity started dancing at a young age and was lucky enough to follow her passion to graduate with one of the first Bachelor of Arts Dance Degrees in Australia in 1988. Having worked as a professional dancer and teacher she was able to explore and develop her passion whilst at the same time sharing her love of movement with her students. In 1996 Felicity also completed one of the first Diplomas of Natural Therapy and worked full time as a Naturopath in South Australia. In 2003 she completed a Bachelor of Nursing which enabled her to take her holistic approach further working in the area of population health, through a creative program to improve chronic disease in the Australian population at the Improvement Foundation of Australia.
In November 2018 whilst walking on the beach a dear friend asked if she had ever tried painting. Starting with water color pencils she progressed to the brushes in May 19 and in 2020 also began to paint in oil, Felicity aims to embrace flow and many of the techniques she has learnt from watercolor into her style as an oil painter.
Felicity says βas a new emerging artist this wonderful world of painting has given me a vehicle to express both my creative and passionate sides. I have a thirst for the positive and a love of colour which has only intensified as I have opened my eyes to this new part of my life. Living by the beach I am privileged to have beautiful seascapes and surroundings to inspire me and with a passion for gardening I have endless possibilities for me to paint outdoors which I love as well.
I have participated in many Rotary Art Shows, SALA and the Royal Adelaide Show as well as contributing to The Black Tie and Boardies Fundraiser Art Auction for Homelessness on the Fluerieu Peninsula.
which have given me a great start to my career."
