I am an artist living on Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri country in the bayside suburb of Williamstown, Victoria. My art practice keeps me grounded and offers stillness and quiet in a fast-paced, noisy world.
I am inspired by the simple beauty of nature and everyday sentimental objects. I am particularly attracted to the austere charm of Australian native flowers, and the ephemera of ordinary life for the way it can spark meaningful memories or mark a moment in time. This sense of nostalgia drives me to preserve delicate moments in time that celebrate the natural world and life’s simple pleasures.
I aim to create art that brightens spaces and connect with viewers in a way that conjures a sense of comfort, nostalgia and delight.
I work primarily in acrylics on sustainably sourced cotton or linen canvas.
