Elodie takes an expanded approach to painting and drawing, leading her art to oscillate between representational and abstract expressionism. She finds the creative process a journey of discovery and as a result her artwork is constantly evolving. Elodie's natural instincts and former training in transpersonal art therapy have shaped her exploratory approach to art making as she taps into her subconscious. Elodie's paintings are infused with symbolism and explore themes of memory, loss and transition, the human condition and relationships. Spirituality intertwined with health challenges and the female form feature in her art. Elodie wishes her artwork to resonate on an emotional level with the viewer and hopes it is a source of beauty and contemplation.
Elodie uses high quality materials and wide ranging materials from traditional, such as oils, canvas and charcoal, to the unconventional and contemporary. Her candid and authentic nature towards art is reflected in her artistic versatility.
