Danae Thyssen is the Managing Director of For Art Sake Creative Consulting and a well renown South Australian Visual Artist with a Masters in Art, Design and Creative Practice from the University of South Australia. Danae has received multiple awards for outstanding academic achievement, including being the 2013 recipient of the Golden Key Scholarship Award and the Linda Lou Murphy Scholarship Award. In 2015, Danae was a finalist in the Emma Hack Art Prize and The NCAP Awards, along with being an exhibiting artist and Co-curator of the Little Rundle Street Art Project, which was nominated for a Fringe Award.
Of particular note, Danae was part of the Australian Milano Art Invasion, exhibiting at the Artmeet Gallery & Art Expo Milan during the international World Expo 2015. Danae was also included in the Exposure Awards Digital Art Display, which premiere at the Louvre on the 13th July 2015 โ in โThe Dreamers Collection. Additionally, Danae has been selected as a finalist in the Australian Contemporary Arts Prize in 2015, 2018 & 2019.
Danaeโs is well respected and considered to be a highly collectable artist, whose work is held in numerous private and corporate collections globally.
