Punctuated by Prose

With art being such a visual medium, many artists prefer for the symbols, motifs and colours do the talking. But sometimes, the conversation is so important that words are needed to punctuate the point. In a few cases, they go so far as to become the main technique of the piece and in steps the influence of typography. Using lettering and words brings the key message to the fore, creating a mesmerising, piercing work that will stick with you long after you walk away.
