As a trained Graphic Designer, I love playing with the gorgeous qualities of raw materials as an Artist. Using a loose, yet balanced style to create a piece. Finding ways of creating textures and producing stark images that pop with depth and contrast is something I love. I love highlighting with dark greys and blacks. Currently working on a unique camel series after a trip to India. Loose, organic monochrome brushstrokes and dripping messiness - juxtaposed with cleaner whites and greys and intricate colour pops and some with gold leaf. These playful characters make the perfect secondary piece if you already have brighter piece and want to add some subtle tones. Abstract series to follow, playing with space and shapes - large scales pieces with depth of layers cerated using organic sketching peaking though papers. Leaving the viewer with an impressive, handsome artwork on first viewing, then lovely little personal subtleties when you get closer. Creating calm, with a little off kilter.
