This work was created after a time spend in the Cradle Mountain national park in lutruwita Tasmania. The winter earth cool and dark. Pockets of water pools after a wet night and a brisk wind flowing through the tough plateau habitat. The winter Bushland has a surprising array of colours, a landscape that flourishes under the harshest of conditions. This work examines the textures, stories & pneuma of the Tasmanian landscape. I am fascinated by this place and the stories it holds. The more time spent here the landscape reveals itself beyond the aesthetic. . ~ Painted on 100% cotton archival paper ~ Framed in float mount style ~ Natural Tasmanian oak exterior frame ~ Ready to hang ~ Anti-reflective art glass
