Camilo Esparza 23 artworks | 1 Sold Follow Contact Camilo Camilo is an Australian artist and printmaker born in Colombia, South America. Since an early age he was in contact with the arts, he did his first dry point etching at the age of 4. Camilo studied arts and printmaking for 6 years with his Dad Eduardo Esparza who is a well known artist in Colombia. Currently, he is a Fellow Member of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts where he exhibits his works in a regular basis. He is also an active member of Bittondi Printmakers Association where he teaches workshops in screen printing and other printmaking techniques. Camilo’s most popular series ‘Marine World’ is inspired in the marine wildlife of Australia and some imaginary and real creatures that live in the ocean; he wants to send an awareness message of protection of marine species, especially those endangered.
