Tanya is a self taught artist from Geelong. Her art is inspired by her love of life, music and flowers. The quote "The earth laughs in flowers" really resonates with her. Tanya's process is very playful. Brushes, palette knives and finger tips are used and paint is often poured straight on to the canvas.
All of her pieces contain a message that has come to her during their creation, usually through music, books or quotes she has read. Tanya hopes her paintings and the messages they hold evoke feelings of joy and inspiration to all that view them.
Most pieces have been painted on reclaimed timber or canvas.
A percentage of her profits are donated to ‘The Tolle Foundation’ inspired by her experience with anxiety. Eckhart Tolle’s teachings and her favourite book ‘The Power of Now’ were life changing for her and she would love everyone to have access to his beautiful wisdom.
