I watched the HBO miniseries Chernobyl this week and it made me super emotional. It was so well made that it evoked that feeling of gloom and distress comprehending how this disaster changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. How there's a part on Earth is now like a tumor and we humans put it there. And that's not the only one. I'm not an environmentalist if I was to be honest but this made me realize it should be a part of us that's effortless, like breathing. Every little effort counts. Because then, people don't have to die to save others like they had to in Chernobyl
