''Viridescent'' - Limited Edition 1 of 1.
'Viridescent' is an abstract aerial photograph of one of many salt ponds located on the Eyre Peninsula, between Mt Hope and Cummins. This photo taken on a recent revisit to the area. Whilst a lot of the ponds were dry this year, there were a few that remained, luckily for me leaving behind some lovely colours and artworks!
I just love the colour of the water in this salt pond, not quite yellow, not quite green, somewhere in between, and the meaning behind the name... meaning slightly greenish.
The whites and greys of the salt and clay, mixed against the vegetation further highlight this unique colour.
