"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward." - Amelia Earhart
"Tigers Eye' Limited Edition 1 of 1.
'Tigers Eye' is an abstract aerial photograph of dry river bed located on the Eyre Peninsula, discovered on a trip to Port Lincoln.
Sometimes when I look at a landscape aerial photograph I cant help but see certain images, created by our imaginations, but often triggered by a memory. I like this photo particularly because I see the eye of my favourite animal, the tiger... but the colours also remind me of a semi precious gemstone I use to collect as a child, Tigers Eye. I just love the mix of not only the textures, but the blacks, golds and caramels swirling through this photograph, leaving behind an earthy abstract artwork. I can't wait to visit the region again.
Cheers, and safe travels π Ash.
