The tide on the coast laps the shore where trees cling to the bank. A recent move to the South Coast of NSW.was the inspiration for this piece. The fires that have ravaged the area have taken the colour from the landscape but the trees live on and stand tall.
I used collaged papers , dribbled ink and stick for drawing . The raw linen surface was left as the background to keep the neutral feel. A small splash of blue is a highlight amongst the landscape.
This would suit the modern home where a neutral palette is desired.
