Still Life No.56 is bursting with life and will bring joy and vibrancy to any space. This work was inspired by the beautiful wattle trees on my street! This work has been created using artist quality acrylic paints in a predominantly muted palette with pops of vibrancy. It has been finished using a satin varnish which has a very slight sheen.
This painting is framed in a Tasmanian Oak float frame which has been sealed using an environmentally friendly, plant based oil. It is ready to unpack and hang!
Andria Beighton is a Melbourne based artist whose background in floristry is evident in her subject selection. A lifelong fascination with colours and a requirement for balance are also driving forces
in her work.
Inspired by bold vintage textiles, the graphic nature of mid century poster art and the stark forms of brutalist architecture, Andria creates bold yet harmonious work.
