Large, heavily textured landscape on professional canvas, finished with a matt varnish. This artwork was inspired by a wilderness exhibition at Cradle Mountain. The companion travelling there is one of those 'wordy people', who couldn't possibly just say colour, but talks about hue, and who seem to integrate poetic devices like rhyme into every second sentence. The combination of this and the arty nature of the trip made for a joyous time, void of negativity, hence inspiring 'Blue Lost in the Hue'. I hope you enjoy!
Alice brings to her work the passion of a young emerging artist who has taken a modern approach. Her love for Tasmania’s natural beauty and dramatic landscapes feature heavily in the style of her art. She paints using bold brush strokes, creating mood, drama and vibrancy.
