Aldona Kmieć is a Polish-born Australian photographic artist based in Melbourne. Her connection to the land has profoundly influenced her art practice dedicated to photography, installation, and mixed media. Her twilight landscapes from the Wimmera series portray the stark dryness of the Australian landscape, while her recent Veil artworks explore memory and time through long-exposure photography and compositions of colour.

She exhibits regularly throughout Australia and overseas. Her work has been featured on The Block Show (2019), The Design Files magazine (2015) and Better Homes & Gardens TV (2015) featuring a street art project We R You in Ballarat.
